ABOUT RAVEMEDY
WHY WE DON’T USE 5-HTP
Ravemedy was created by ravers for ravers. We love festivals, club nights and long sets—but we hate waking up wrecked, anxious or unable to sleep. That’s why we built a recovery supplement that supports your body without relying on stimulants or 5-HTP.
Our formula is caffeine-free, 5-HTP-free and packed with NAC 500 mg, Milk Thistle, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, B-vitamins and electrolytes to support detox, hydration, energy and immune function after big nights out.
Why some rave pills use 5-HTP
5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin, the “feel-good” neurotransmitter. Some post-party or “mood support” pills add 5-HTP hoping to boost mood after a night out. On paper it sounds simple—but in real life your brain chemistry, medications and substances can make things more complicated.
Why Ravemedy skips 5-HTP
- Stacking risk: 5-HTP may interact with certain medications or substances and could potentially raise serotonin too much.
- Side effects for some people: Some users report nausea, vivid dreams, next-day grogginess or feeling “off” after taking 5-HTP.
- Timing is tricky: If someone takes 5-HTP too soon after a heavy night, they may be adding more serotonin when their system is already taxed.
- We prefer support, not push: Our mission is to support your body’s natural recovery systems—liver, hydration, antioxidants, B-vitamins—rather than directly pushing serotonin with 5-HTP.
What we do instead
- NAC 500 mg + Milk Thistle + ALA to support liver health, detox and antioxidant defenses.
- B-vitamins to support normal energy production and nervous system function after long nights.
- Electrolytes & minerals to help replace what you sweat out while dancing.
- Caffeine-free & 5-HTP-free so Ravemedy is designed to be sleep-friendly and avoid extra stimulation.
